Hoax that grounded jet sparked by Facebook photo
Court documents say Kenneth W. Smith, charged with making Thursday?s hoax phone call that forced a US Airways flight to return to the Philadelphia Airport, made the bogus threat to avenge his girlfriend. Christopher Shell, the ex-boyfriend and man removed from the flight at gunpoint, reportedly posted a compromising photo of the woman on Facebook.
